Job Summary
Lead development and documentation of complex electronic and electrical system requirements for aerospace/weapon systems, translating requirements into architecture and designs; supervise testing, validation, and supplier integration; manage production build support, nonconformance disposition, and troubleshooting through development to production acceptance; review drawings and update parts or design improvements; develop subsystem diagrams and system descriptions; manage Source Control Drawing requirements and collaborate with Supply Chain on RFIs for new equipment or long-lead items; support project management and proposal sections; develop and validate complex electronic systems requirements; 100% onsite in St. Charles, MO, with U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance; relocation offered based on eligibility; shift is 1st shift; strong collaboration with multi-discipline teams; requires security/compliance readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Level 3: typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Level 3: Minimum 3 years of experience with aerospace and avionics systems
- Level 4: typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Level 4: Minimum 5 years of experience with aerospace and avionics systems
- Preferred: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in electrical or electronics engineering or computer engineering
- Experience with Pspice LTSpice or equivalent schematic capture and circuit simulation tool
- Experience with lab instrumentation and power supplies
- Experience managing engineering projects and collaborating with suppliers
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-704
- EVMS experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Relocation eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship required for certain clearances
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance
