Job Summary
Operate daily on the workover rig floor performing manual labor tasks; assist in mobilization and rigging up/down of the workover rig; operate tongs and slips to connect/disconnect drill pipe, tubulars, casing and drill bits or tools; perform maintenance of equipment and the drill floor; rig up/down procedures and BOP system care; maintain cleanliness and housekeeping on the workover floor; participate in JSA and tailgate meetings; assist in tool prep and washing of trucks/equipment; assist in lubrication and daily inspection of equipment; must have a HS diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years on a well service rig, CDL or ability to obtain one, and be legally authorized to work in the US; must comply with DOT regulations and health & safety requirements; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience work on a well service rig
- Must have a valid state issued driver’s license, CDL, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to perform manual labor required to operate rig equipment
- Ability to comply with DOT Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
