Job Summary
Manage distributed energy resources (DERs) by defining success criteria, authoring solution diagrams, and deploying Opus One solutions to support planning scenarios. Facilitate workshops to capture functional requirements, document customer-specific solution designs, and define user acceptance testing processes. Collaborate with architects and product teams to develop business cases, standardize delivery processes, and create training modules for utility customers. Identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and provide technical demos to support sales activities and identify upsell opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar program, with a focus on power systems or relevant experience
- Comfortable automating processes and utilizing or building scripting solutions to support product solutions
- Highly familiar with emerging energy industry trends and implications on utility customers in the area of DER management, distribution planning, IT, SCADA and asset management
- Strong background in Excel analysis, Powerpoint, and Visio
- Get things done within project deadlines, and with strong focus on quality
- Natural collaborator, and demonstrate a 'we before me' attitude
- Can quickly understand and analyze various approaches and processes and are able to configure solutions to customer needs given existing product functionality
- Ability to drill down to the details, obtaining the right level of specificity for your team

- Experience with power system analysis software (E.g. OpenDSS, CYME, Powerfactory, Synergi etc.)
