Job Summary
Perform comprehensive skin, hair, and nail examinations, formulate dermatologic diagnoses and treatment plans, and prescribe medications for acute and chronic conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including skin biopsies, fungal cultures, blood work, and imaging studies. Obtain patient histories, document in the electronic health record, and coordinate care with physicians, residents, and fellows. Monitor patient progress and modify care plans based on clinical indications. At least 50% of practice focuses on General Dermatology. Full-time daytime hours Monday through Friday with no call.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of Dermatology NP experience
- Experience performing dermatologic procedures
- Ability to work with physicians as well as residents and fellows
