Job Summary

Provide comprehensive dermatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical, surgical, and general dermatologic conditions. Independently manage a busy schedule to see up to 30 patients daily while performing skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other in-office procedures. Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on prevention and ongoing skin health. Build and maintain patient volume through high-quality care and efficient clinic flow while collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure an excellent patient experience. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with compliance standards. This role is ideal for an experienced provider who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, patient-focused practice within the Integrated Dermatology network.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with eligibility for practice in the state of Connecticut
  • Dermatology experience
  • Ability to comfortably manage dermatology patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a busy, productive practice and gradually build a strong patient schedule
  • Ability to see up to 30 patients per day

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience performing dermatology procedures such as skin exams, biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and related in-office treatments
  • Ability to independently manage a busy dermatology schedule
  • Ability to perform skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures within scope of practice and experience
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on prevention, treatment options, and ongoing skin health
  • Ability to build and maintain patient volume through high-quality care, efficient clinic flow, and patient-centered service
  • Ability to collaborate with physicians, fellow providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members to ensure an excellent patient experience
  • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with practice and compliance standards
