Dermatology Medical Assistant / LPN

Dermatology Medical Assistant / LPN sought to support dermatology practice operations across medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and wellness. Responsibilities include assisting providers with patient histories, recording vital signs, scribing visit documentation, preparing patients for procedures, supporting minor surgical procedures (exisions, biopsies, cryotherapy), maintaining sterile technique, and aiding during cosmetic treatments (Botox, fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments, microdermabrasion). Ensure infection control, provide wound care and suture removal as directed, document visits in the EHR, and educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care. Collaborate with dermatologists, physician assistants, nurses, and team members to sustain high-quality patient care. Must travel between two Englewood locations; physical demands include standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Fully integrated role in a full-time schedule (Mon–Thu 8:00–5:00, some Fridays). Note: role operates in a healthcare setting with regular patient contact and exposure to contagious illnesses.
