Job Summary
Conduct rooming techniques and assist physicians with procedures, including biopsies, suture removal, dressing changes, and patch testing. Prepare patients for examinations, obtain history and chief complaints, and manage the pathology process from intake to documentation. Handle patient phone calls, assign triage priorities, coordinate patient needs with supporting pods, and perform patient education on treatment plans and medications. Sterilize equipment and exam rooms using germicides, sterilizers, or autoclaves. Maintain accurate, legible patient records and communicate concisely with physicians and staff. Requires a medical assistant diploma or active nursing license with current CPR/BLS and flu vaccination. Full-time role with on-site training, a $1,000 signing bonus, and starting pay of $22.50/hour.
