Job Summary
Dermatology Medical Assistant at QualDerm Partners in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing basic laboratory tests and managing specimen processing, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records following regulatory standards, coordinating appointment scheduling and effective communication within the clinic, educating patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines, and ensuring examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with medical supplies. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with Medical Assistant certification preferred, experience in a Medical Assistant role or clinical healthcare environment, knowledge of dermatology-related terminology and procedures, excellent communication skills, confidentiality and professionalism in handling patient information, strong organizational skills in a fast-paced clinical setting, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred
