Job Summary
Dermatology Faculty – Assistant Professor responsible for direct patient care (consults and outpatient services), teaching activities (conferences, lectures, rounds, supervision of residents and students), and scholarly work. Administrative duties include advising/evaluating residents and students, providing medical direction for hospital services, and participating in departmental/Health System committees. Requires MD/DO, completed dermatology residency, board certification, Texas medical license, and US citizenship or employment authorization; relocation allowance offered. Base salary $450,000 with $30,000 in initial incentives for new graduates in General Dermatology. UTMB also offers health insurance with employee contributions, generous PTO, retirement benefits, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an approved medical school
- Completion of an approved Dermatology Residency training program
- U.S. Board Certification
- Valid State of Texas medical license
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
