Job Summary
Dermatology Faculty – Assistant Professor providing direct patient care including consults and outpatient services; participates in all teaching activities (conferences, lectures, rounds) and supervises residents and students; advances clinical knowledge through scholarly efforts; assumes administrative responsibilities including advising/evaluating residents and students, providing medical direction for hospital services, and participating in departmental/Health System committees; requires MD/DO, completed dermatology residency, board certification, Texas medical license, and eligible to work in the U.S.; base salary $450,000 with $30,000 in initial incentives; relocation allowance offered; teaching and clinical duties across UTMB’s dermatology division with diverse training of medical students, residents, and allied health students.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O degree from an approved medical school
- Completion of an approved Dermatology Residency training program
- U.S. Board Certification
- Valid State of Texas medical license
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
