Job Summary
Dermatology Faculty – Assistant Professor at UTMB seeks a physician to provide direct patient care (consults and outpatient services), participate in teaching activities (conferences, lectures, rounds) and supervise students and residents, advance clinical knowledge through scholarly work, and assume administrative duties including advising residents, providing medical direction for hospital services, and committee involvement. Requires MD or DO, completed dermatology residency, board certification, Texas medical license, and U.S. work authorization; relocation assistance offered. Base salary $450,000 with $30,000 initial incentives for new graduates specified, with relocation allowance.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an approved medical school
- Completion of an approved Dermatology Residency training program
- U.S. Board Certification
- Valid State of Texas medical license
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
