Job Summary
Dermatologist position at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Moreno Valley, CA. Provide evaluations/consultations and direct patient care in both ambulatory-outpatient and inpatient dermatology, including biopsies, cryotherapy, intralesional injections, and patch testing. Engage in teledermatology, e-consults, and store-and-forward consultations; participate in teaching medical students, residents, and other providers; supervise residents/fellows and NP/PA students; adhere to Joint Commission, VA policies, HIPAA, and site guidelines. Requires board certification/eligibility in Dermatology with Monday–Friday schedule and on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary range $340,000–$365,000 per year. Location highlights include Loma Linda, CA, with duties involving education and coordination of patient care within a VA facility and potential faculty appointment at Loma Linda University.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Dermatology
- MD/DO physician license in CA or eligible to obtain
- ability to provide care in ambulatory-outpatient and inpatient dermatology settings
- participation in on-call coverage and teaching/education of trainees
