Job Summary
Offer skin consultations and evaluate patient conditions by screening for disease. Utilize medical history in assessments, prescribe medications, and perform non-invasive surgical procedures including biopsies and excisions. Refer patients to advanced specialists and discuss skin health status directly with individuals. Maintain active New York State licensure and board certification within a collaborative multi-specialty practice environment in the Bronx.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Proficient in performing full-body skin examinations
- Proficient in diagnosing skin conditions
- Proficient in prescribing medications
- Proficient in performing non-invasive surgical procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, etc.)
- Strong clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
