Job Summary
Evaluate acute and chronic dermatological conditions, complete full-body preventive skin examinations, and perform minor in-clinic procedures. Prescribe medications as appropriate while providing evidence-based, timely, and compassionate care to a wide range of individuals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team, including primary care physicians and behavioral health specialists, and maintain thorough documentation using integrated EMR tools. Requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. This 20-hour role integrates into Crossover Health's Primary Health model, delivering care in-person, virtually, and via asynchronous messaging.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current Board Certification in Dermatology
- Active Medical License in the State of Practice
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience providing dermatology care in a clinical setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient setting, specifically within an integrated primary care model
- Experience using EMR
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Mac OS (Pages, KeyNote, and Numbers), Google office products or other client systems such as Microsoft Office or HP products
- Experience with telehealth or virtual care offerings, including aptitude for associated technology
