Job Summary
Derivatives Sales Associate on the APAC STP team responsible for originating and expanding relationships with VIP traders and institutions, overseeing end-to-end sales from prospecting to onboarding and ongoing account management, building a disciplined CRM pipeline, and collaborating cross-functionally to tailor client-centric solutions. Role includes leading client meetings and industry events across APAC, shaping competitive positioning and product roadmap via market intelligence, and travel up to 30% within the region. Requires 3+ years in derivatives sales or related field, existing APAC VIP-trader relationships, deep product knowledge (perpetuals, options, futures) and strong deal-closing history. Fluency in English and responsible use of AI in workflow processes are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in derivatives sales, sales and trading, or business development at a tier-1 financial institution, cryptocurrency exchange, or fintech, with a focus on APAC markets
- Proven origination track record with existing relationships among VIP derivatives traders (crypto or traditional finance) in APAC, demonstrated by measurable revenue or volume growth in prior roles
- Deep knowledge of derivatives market structure, product types (perpetuals, options, futures), and risk management principles
- History of independently closing complex, high-value deals and consistently exceeding revenue or volume targets
- Willingness to travel within APAC (up to approximately 30%) and English fluency (spoken and written)
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
