Job Summary
Derivative Sales Analyst on Coinbase's Institutional team: own and grow relationships with top prosumer derivatives traders across futures, options, and perpetuals; source new high-value traders from competitor venues; monitor market structure and competitor offerings to identify upsell opportunities; maintain pipeline and forecast; reactivate dormant traders with data-driven outreach and bespoke incentives; collaborate with Product, Risk, and Marketing to shape advanced trading offerings; requires 2+ years in financial services/crypto sales, deep understanding of derivatives, data-driven mindset, CRM proficiency, and Series 3 license or ability to obtain within 90 days. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience in financial services, trading, or crypto with a track record of meeting targets
- Strong understanding of derivatives products (futures, options, perps, margin) in traditional finance or crypto markets
- Data-driven operating style with experience using dashboards, CRMs, and analytics to segment books and prioritize outreach
- Background in business, finance, economics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience with trading clients
- Series 3 License required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
