Job Summary
Deputy Team Manager for a Multi Disciplinary Team in Blackpool/Greater Manchester. Lead operational oversight and supervision of social workers and allied staff, promote quality assurance and safeguarding, and support professional development and performance management in a local authority setting. Key duties include coordinating daily operations across social workers, health professionals, and team members; providing reflective supervision and mentoring; implementing safeguarding procedures and statutory responsibilities; and ensuring compliance with local authority policies. Requires a social work degree, Social Work England registration, and at least 2 years post-qualification experience; locum/agency role with competitive pay.
