Job Summary
Directs daily operations of the Juvenile Justice Division's courtrooms and oversees approximately four Juvenile Justice ASAs; provides hands-on courtroom support, coaching, and mentorship to seasoned and new attorneys; co-chairs significant trials; stays current on legislative/case law updates; represents the division with victims, law enforcement, school personnel, and community partners; conducts trainings for ASAs and law enforcement; emphasizes advocacy aligned with the mission of the CCSAO; heavy involvement in litigation, courtroom strategy, and interagency collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in criminal or juvenile justice
- Must have demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to train newer ASAs
- Must have significant trial experience
