Job Summary
Deputy Site Manager for a Bechtel project in Chandler, AZ. Oversees the organization and direction of a single construction project, including supervision of craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, and finance and accounting services. Acts as primary client contact for field activities and ensures operations are compliant, safe, timely, within scope and budget, and that clients are satisfied. Reports to the Site Manager. Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or international equivalent) and substantial construction leadership experience (13–19 years). EPC/EPCM delivery experience and familiarity with datacenter-related projects are highly valued. Relocation is authorized for national/international families. The role is full-time, on-site in Chandler, Arizona, with emphasis on project execution, safety, quality, procurement, and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience
- Bechtel leadership experience on construction projects
- Datacenter experience and EPC/EPCM delivery models (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage organization and direction of construction activities
- Strong client relationship management and contract administration skills
- Safety, environmental, and quality planning experience
