Job Summary
Deputy Sheriff - Patrol responsible for enforcing county, state, and federal laws, conducting investigations, writing reports, testifying in court, performing traffic enforcement and routine patrols, and providing public safety support including civil processes and emergency response. Requires POST certification, a valid Colorado driver’s license, CPR/first aid certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Compensation ranges from $37.88 to $45.49 per hour with DOQ; comprehensive benefits and rotating shifts are offered. Extensive knowledge of law enforcement principles, report writing, incident response, and the ability to operate specialized equipment is required.
Required Qualifications
