Deputy Sheriff - Eligibility List

Enforce Federal, State, and local laws by patrolling county highways, investigating traffic accidents, and responding to criminal complaints involving homicide, robbery, and theft. Conduct criminal investigations, gather evidence, interview victims and witnesses, and testify in court. Supervise inmates, transport prisoners, and maintain jail security while providing medical attention as needed. Assist with civil process, crowd control at events, and coordinate emergency responses with fire and ambulance services. Complete written reports, submit activity records, and maintain public safety through community policing activities.
