Job Summary
The Deputy Project Manager will develop cost-effective plans and schedules for project completion, select and coordinate the work of subcontractors, oversee trade contractors' performance, and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Responsibilities include administration of construction contracts, supervision of assistant managers, tracking construction schedules and costs, and reporting to owners and architects on project progress and necessary modifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management or construction science
- Five years or more of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency
- Good oral and written communication skills
