Job Summary

Lead cross-functional teams within manufacturing to support Airborne Systems business unit programs, overseeing execution against cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives. Manage project performance, budgets, and schedules while fostering collaboration among Subject Matter Experts. Analyze workflow and load balancing to assess risks and scope changes impacting program outcomes. Implement new processes, documentation, and quality controls, utilizing earned value tools and interpreting engineering specifications. Transition new programs from development to production and identify opportunities for AI-driven continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree, plus minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Government security investigation eligibility
  • Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • U.S. citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with manufacturing operations, process development and control
  • Experience with overseeing project performance, cost, scope, and schedule
  • Experience with generating, analyzing, and monitoring budgets and schedules
  • Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration within teams/Subject Matter Experts to ensure health of overall program
  • Analytic and problem solving skills, with advanced decision-making ability
  • Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to perform analysis of work flow/load balancing and take appropriate action
  • A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science / Engineering field
  • Experience with new product introduction manufacturing, and transitioning new programs from development to production
  • Ability to assess risk and scope changes that may impact program cost and schedule
  • Proficient understanding of earned value tools
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
  • Experience in implementing new processes, documentation, and quality/process controls
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; detail oriented
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
  • Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects with successful outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience writing technical papers and proposals
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
