Job Summary
Deputy Program Manager for the MFLC program overseeing counseling, consultation, outreach, and program management services that support readiness, resilience, and well-being of eligible military service members, their families, and survivors. Responsibilities include assisting the Program Manager with daily contract operations, supervising contractor personnel, assigning tasks, overseeing service delivery and performance, ensuring availability of qualified MFLC personnel, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating across the contractor team to enable rapid response to requirements. The role emphasizes high-quality, prevention-focused counseling and outreach, adapting to geographic location and assignment type, and supporting pilot programs and data-driven program effectiveness studies. Required qualifications include five years of experience managing a program of similar scope; preferred Master’s degree in clinical counseling and/or clinical social work, with direct service experience, PMI PMP certification, and a Secret level clearance.
