Job Summary

Lead cognitive behavioral therapy programs and trainings for clients and their families to improve interactions with society. Supervise adults and youth while recognizing laws, policies, and procedures governing the work. Build trust with peers, clients, and staff by maintaining confidentiality and adapting to changing conditions. Set high standards, organize priorities, and work with minimal supervision to meet goals. Prepare written reports and evaluations while conveying information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including law enforcement and the Court. Demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy when collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Understand human behavior as it relates to the supervision of staff, adults and/or youth
  • Recognize and understand the laws, policies and procedures pertaining to working with youth
  • Lead, initiate, and implement cognitive behavioral therapy through programs, activities, and trainings for clients and clients families/friends to better develop their interactions with each other and society
  • Interact with peers, clients and staff in a way that gives them confidence in one's motives and representations and those of the organization
  • Seen as direct and truthful; keep confidences, promises and commitments, and observe principles set forth in Code of Ethics
  • Adapt well to changes in assignments and priorities
  • Adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles
  • Approach change positively and adjust behaviors accordingly
  • Set high standards and well-defined, realistic goals for one's self
  • Display a high level of effort and commitment toward completing assignments in a timely manner
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Motivated to achieve goals and assignments
  • Organize work, set priorities, and determine resources requirements
  • Determine necessary sequence of activities needed to achieve goals
  • Build consensus amongst diverse groups for the purpose of meeting business objectives
  • Provide information in clear, organized, and a timely manner and varies style and tone to fit the purpose and audience
  • Demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy and tact when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, collaborative partners, law enforcement, and the Court
  • Prepare and produce written reports and evaluations
  • Clearly convey and receive information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the listener, helps them understand and retain the message, and invites response and feedback
