Job Summary
Manage a major $60M+ effort, overseeing a distributed team delivering acquisition, analytical, and decision-support services to the Office of the Secretary of War. Coordinate with Program Managers to oversee current efforts supporting ATAG clients, including OSW and Joint Staff, while managing prime and subcontract contract work. Lead business development resources to execute strategies for qualification, capture, and proposal efforts for re-competes, takeaways, and new contracts. Assist in managing Group finances, business development, and contracts totaling over $16M in annual revenue. Drive growth of people, tools, capabilities, and lines of business to meet revenue and profitability goals. Foster relationships with industry partners and potential government customers to develop areas of business growth. Hire, develop, mentor, and lead employees to maintain high team cohesion and morale. Provide onsite support in Alexandria, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years of experience managing complex, high-dollar value contracts within the DoW or Federal government
- Experience working with senior military and civilian stakeholders, preferably within OSW, the Joint Staff, or similar headquarters organizations
- Ability to produce senior-level analysis, briefings, and decision materials
- Master's degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of DoD acquisition processes, documentation, milestone requirements, and contracting fundamentals
- Business development, capture, or proposal experience
- Experience with space/nuclear mission assurance or space/nuclear/cyber domain engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute or a DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management
