Deputy Patrol Officer - Post Certified

Deputy Patrol Officer to prevent crime, enforce laws, apprehend suspects, and assist citizens for Alamosa County. Requires Colorado Peace Officer’s Certification and a high school diploma or GED, plus a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, conducting searches, interrogating suspects, gathering evidence, testifying in court, and maintaining knowledge of arrestee rights. Must be able to document cases, evaluate situations, and work well in a team or independently; strong computer skills are needed. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor; adherence to department policies and procedures; ability to meet physical requirements and communicate effectively in English.
