Deputy Manager Test Development

Job Summary
Lead the design, development, validation, and deployment of automated test solutions for prototype, NPI, and mass production programs while managing test development activities to ensure timely readiness for pilot and pre-production builds. Drive FMEAs for test-related issues affecting quality, yield, and delivery, and establish KPIs, project plans, and resource allocation to monitor departmental performance. Manage departmental resources, budgets, and equipment utilization while leading continuous improvement, automation, and Lean initiatives to enhance FPY, test coverage, and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with customer, quality, EHS, and company requirements in support of business growth and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Test Development, Manufacturing Engineering, or EMS operations
- Proven experience in manufacturing test solution development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of electronics, diagnostics, fixtures, automation systems, and test methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects
- Excellent communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and project management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in using PCB design tools (Altium, Circuit Studio, KICAD)
- Embedded system design and programming languages (Python, C, C++, C#)
- National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
