Job Summary
Deputy Manager role in a children's residential home leading in partnership with the Registered Manager to shape the home’s culture, support and develop staff, and ensure high standards of care. Responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children with EBD, trauma, and complex needs; requires leadership experience, Ofsted knowledge, Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, UK driving licence, and right to work.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience within a Residential Children's Home (within the last 5 years)
- A minimum of 12 months supervisory experience in a children's residential care home
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- A full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
- Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs)
