Job Summary
Process purchase orders for electronic and mechanical materials based on approved requisitions and contracts, ensuring timely material availability to support production. Coordinate with suppliers, Stores, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to manage order acknowledgements, delivery schedules, and receipt inspections. Monitor MRP exceptions, update Expected Time of Delivery in the ERP system, and verify invoices against Goods Receipt Notes to resolve discrepancies. Identify and onboard new domestic and international suppliers while managing procurement strategies for high lead-time and critical components. Maintain accurate procurement records, support inventory flow control, and drive process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay activities and build strong supplier relationships. Requires 4–8 years of manufacturing procurement experience with ERP proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Inventory Control
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Good understanding of the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle
- Experience handling both domestic and import procurement
- Knowledge of supplier management, sourcing strategies, and vendor development
- Understanding of inventory planning and material flow management
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP reporting tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- 4–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving electronic and mechanical components
