Job Summary

Direct all activities of the cruise missile program through completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives are met. Establish and maintain an efficient program organizational structure and lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to achieve program goals. Lead contract negotiations, including scope, changes, budgets, milestones, and key terms, while defining and managing program requirements and baselines using Earned Value Management. Identify, allocate, and manage program resources including workforce planning and suppliers, and perform proactive risk and opportunity management to minimize program impacts. Work collaboratively with executive leadership to develop a clear organizational vision and cultivate customer relationships to identify new business opportunities. This Deputy Program Manager supports a new development cruise missile program from inception through completion, requiring a 9/80 work schedule and a Secret clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and/or program management
  • Additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts
  • Experience supporting program management
  • Minimum of four years leading performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, achieving all requirements as project lead, integrated program team lead, or cost account manager
  • Minimum of three years demonstrated success leading high-performance teams or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience leading teams of at least 15 personnel
  • Managing contract scope exceeding $15M
  • Undergraduate and/or graduate technical degrees in science, mathematics, or engineering from a nationally accredited institution
  • Experience on cruise missile programs
  • Demonstrated expertise in capture management
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical performance baselines
  • Demonstrated expertise in requirements management
  • Demonstrated expertise in earned value management best practices

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams of at least 15 personnel and managing contract scope exceeding $15M
  • Undergraduate and/or graduate technical degrees in science, mathematics, or engineering from a nationally accredited institution
