Job Summary
Lead EHS site audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance with Central, state, and local laws. Develop and maintain safety training programs, inspect PPE and emergency systems, and enforce safe work practices across operations. Investigate incidents, manage site crises, and oversee ETP/STP/WTP functionality while ensuring proper waste disposal and documentation. Prepare monthly MIS reports, present safety updates to management, and assist in annual budget planning. Collaborate with technical, administrative, and R&D staff to improve ergonomics and eliminate hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry (Science) / Diploma / Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with Diploma in Safety is a must requirement
- Minimum educational qualification required is Bachelors in science degree or Masters in Science / Engineering background
- A minimum of 8-10 years prior relevant experience
- Good knowledge of manufacturing environment and man machine interfaces
- Good knowledge on Safety and Environment local regulations
- Good knowledge on ETP/STP and effluenet water treatment
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Good English written and verbal communication capability
- Good knowledge computer and quick ERP learner
- Excellent functional co-ordination capability
- Strong convincing capability and leadership
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Willingness to travel across the country
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in Axapta or ERP system preferred
- Masters in Science / Engineering background preferred
