Job Summary
Create and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards to track financial metrics like revenue, margins, and operating costs. Query large databases using SQL to analyze transaction trends, cost structures, and profitability. Reconcile transaction data across banks, payment gateways, and accounting records to ensure accuracy. Automate routine financial reports using SQL and Python to reduce manual Excel work. Support Finance and FP&A teams with monthly closings, budgeting, variance analysis, and revenue forecasting. Requires 2–4 years of experience in a Finance, Payments, or FinTech environment with strong SQL and Excel proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst within a Finance, Payments, or FinTech environment
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Visualisation dashboards or business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI etc)
- Solid understanding of financial basics
- Solid understanding of profit & loss (P&L)
- Solid understanding of payments/settlements
- Solid understanding of unit economics
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
