Job Summary
Plan and collect cost data for raw materials, inventory, and labor at the SKU level, then analyze findings to assess cost impacts of design, material, or method changes. Prepare standard versus actual cost reports, conduct audits, and develop estimates for new products while maintaining the Cost Accounting System. Support month-end General Ledger closing, physical inventory counts, and WIP/FG valuations, reconciling COGS for internal and external audits. Manage fixed asset accounting per IGAAP standards, reconcile CAPEX spending against budgets, and track payback periods for NPD and VAVE projects. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams on cost standard development and prepare profitability and pricing analysis reports.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or CWA qualification
- Strong background in cost systems
- Excellent analytical skills
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in Outlook
- Proficiency in Word
- Experience partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams on cost standard development and analysis
- Ability to prepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Strong communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
