Job Summary
Deputy Head of Production responsible for shaping the Roadrunner manufacturing program at Arsenal-1, driving end-to-end production ownership, ramp plans, headcount, and new line setups to achieve full-rate production. Lead cross-functional teams (Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering) to meet aggressive timelines, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and scale operations. Establish and manage KPIs across financial and operational metrics, enforce AS9100D quality standards, and guide digital tooling adoption (PLM, ERP, MES, QMS) to optimize production. The role combines strategic architecture with hands-on execution and requires ensuring security clearances and strong leadership to deliver high-quality defense products for customers. The role includes training opportunities at Anduril HQ before returning to Ohio, and requires on-site leadership and relentless focus on delivering scale in a high-complexity aerospace environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of proven experience overseeing the production and test of complex electromechanical products
- Strong leadership experience managing large (100+ person) manufacturing teams and cross-functional teams
- Background in quality assurance with a track record of AS9100D compliance
- Experience transitioning from low-rate prototype to high-rate manufacturing
- Ability to manage multiple large projects and priorities in parallel
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Ability to work onsite five days a week at Asheville, OH campus (Arsenal 1)
