Job Summary
Lead vendor management and programs; act as liaison between vendors and the organization; negotiate terms of vendor contracts and resolve invoice/contractual issues; build and maintain positive vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance; drive and maintain vendor programs, marketing, and training; provide input into operational plans and strategic decisions; manage a large team with professional staff and supervisors; contribute to policy and strategy implementation and help executives shape the function of vendor management.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience)
- Minimum of 8 years functional experience including minimum 5 years position-specific experience
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferably managing through subordinate managers
