Job Summary
Deputy General Manager – Branch Operations leads end-to-end branch-level freight forwarding operations (Air & Ocean) in Mumbai, ensuring on-time performance, SLA adherence, cost optimization, and high-quality customer service. Responsible for operating excellence, SOP adherence, governance and documentation, cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Pricing, and developing a high-performance operations team to deliver scalable, reliable service. Requires Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent and 10–15 years of overall experience (minimum 6–8 years in logistics/freight forwarding).

- Minimum 6–8 years in logistics / freight forwarding operations
- Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent
- Experience in leading branch-level operations and delivering end-to-end operational performance
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities
- Experience driving cost control and operational efficiency
- Proven ability to manage customer service outcomes and SLA adherence
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Pricing teams
- Knowledge of CRM/OTM or relevant platforms
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of regulatory, statutory and internal governance requirements
