Job Summary
Deputy General Counsel to lead a broad range of corporate, transactional, commercial, finance, compliance, and operational legal matters across Sourceability’s global business. The role emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, corporate governance, financing, and day-to-day legal support, with responsibilities including drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising executive leadership on risks and deal terms, managing corporate records and governance, supporting international structuring and subsidiary management, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and outside counsel. Strong business-minded, practical legal guidance and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience
- Significant experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, commercial transactions, and general corporate legal matters
- Strong background drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Experience with finance, lending, credit facilities, capital structure, or related corporate finance matters
- Prior in-house counsel experience strongly preferred
- Experience advising executive leadership and cross-functional business teams
- Experience supporting a company with international operations preferred
- Experience with distribution, supply chain, technology, electronics, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus
- Familiarity with trade compliance, export controls, sanctions, anti-corruption, data privacy, and other global compliance matters is helpful
- Experience managing outside counsel and coordinating multi-jurisdictional legal matters preferred
