Job Summary
Approve MEP and commissioning schedules, supervise subcontracting strategies, and originate scopes of work for bid packages. Negotiate pricing and change orders, perform constructability and coordination reviews, and define the best approach for MEP buyout. Ensure timely execution of the BIM coordination process, create project-specific quality plans, and conduct site inspections for compliance. Train direct reports on procedures, manage workload and performance, and communicate expectations with the owner to ensure customer satisfaction. Establish controls to correct negative trends in the commissioning program while fostering an inclusive work environment. Collaborate with business development to integrate sales strategies and strengthen client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10-15 years related field experience
- OSHA 30 hour certified
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong scheduling skills with proficiency in scheduling software
- Strong risk management skills
- Ability to manage the quality assurance process for all MEP work
- Ability to create an environment where 'safety first' is the culture and all trades people work with an incident and injury free attitude
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
