Job Summary
Lead the Revenue Administration Division 2 by developing strategies to reform and modernize revenue systems for countries in Africa and the Western Hemisphere. Manage and supervise multicultural staff, including HQ-based advisors and CD experts, while coordinating technical assistance diagnostic missions and liaising with the World Bank. Direct the division's analytical agenda, recruit and manage long-term and short-term experts, and provide sound guidance to project managers on revenue administration challenges. Collaborate with counterparts in other divisions to develop cross-regional tax reform approaches and implement the division's CD Strategy. Assume day-to-day management responsibilities in the absence of the Division Chief.
Required Qualifications
- advanced university degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field of study
- minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant professional experience
- supervisory or managerial experience

- ability to advise and guide divisional staff in their CD and analytical work
- extensive experience working in tax or customs administration at both the technical level as well as at a senior and/or executive level
- sound understanding of Fund procedures, policies, and goals
- issues related to the design and implementation of complex revenue administration reform projects
- Hands-on experience supervising and coordinating such projects
- knowledge of regional and international organizations engaged in revenue administration reform
