Job Summary
Deputy District Attorney I/II/III/IV, commensurate with experience, prosecutes felony offenses in the 18th Judicial District. Responsibilities include reviewing and filing felony charges, advising law enforcement, assessing case readiness, participating in hearings and trials, conducting voir dire, openings, direct/cross examinations, motions, and legal briefs, handling plea negotiations, providing on-call legal guidance after hours, and engaging in training and community outreach. Requires substantial litigation experience and admission to the Colorado bar.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from law school as provided under Rule 205.1 of the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
