Job Summary
Administrative Staff Analyst NM-I in the Department of Social Services' BRDA unit will function as Deputy Director of Single-Issue Review. Responsibilities include supervising analytical staff responsible for submitting over $50 million in claims for federal and state reimbursement; ensuring participants and invoice data for claims are analyzed, reviewed and compiled accurately; ensuring timely submissions of Homebase, Anti-Eviction and Medicaid claims; supervising data and correction reports within a proprietary rental-issuance database producing over 26,000 landlord 1099s; overseeing the landlord inquiry process after 1099 mailings; developing, writing and running SQL for new projects and updating existing queries; and assisting with special projects for the Assistant Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner. Hours are 9-5.
Required Qualifications
- master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, AND two years of satisfactory professional experience; OR a baccalaureate degree and four years of professional experience including 18 months in executive/managerial role.
