Job Summary
Deputy Director – Placements will lead and oversee placement activities for the School, building industry linkages and aligning opportunities with B-School standards. Responsibilities include strategic planning, industry engagement, coordination with academic leadership to strengthen student employability, formulating placement policies, strengthening internships and live projects, developing placement materials, conducting company visits, developing industry interfaces for training programs and corporate collaborations, and maintaining long-term recruiter partnerships. Key skills include strong communication, networking, leadership, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- MBA (2-year full-time) from a leading national or international management school
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent GPA from a recognized university
- Professional Certifications in HR, Marketing, or Talent Management (advantage)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industry/corporate organizations
- Minimum 4–5 years at middle management level in Marketing or HR
- Experience in the education or service sector preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strategic thinking and execution capability
- Ability to collaborate with academic and corporate stakeholders
