Job Summary
Supervise the Intervention Quality Initiatives (IQI) Team and create, edit, and review content for reports, presentations, text messages, and related materials. Coordinate the collection and reporting of data for IQI projects, write analysis and reports, and review and summarize research and literature. Develop and write scopes for consultant and academic contracts, manage the procurement process in collaboration with EI Administration, and deliver professional development materials and trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the doctorate or master's degree requirements
- At least a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization
- At least two years of experience in responsible full-time research in the appropriate field of specialization
- Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed or certified professional in early childhood special education, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, social work, psychology, or physical therapy
- Minimally have a Masters-level education
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of typical and a typical early childhood development, ages birth to three years
- Knowledge of the NYC Early Intervention Program, its regulations, policies, and procedures and of the NYS DOHBEI Competency Areas for Evidence-Based Evaluations and Services
- Outstanding verbal communication skills and excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge and utilization of adult learning principles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet both short and long-term deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and facilitate, coordinate, and participate in teamwork
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis
