Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operation and growth of the institutional giving program for EnviroVoters and the Ed Fund by managing grant staff, consultants, and a portfolio of high-priority institutional funders. Drive annual grant strategy, revenue planning, and budgeting in partnership with the Director, while overseeing the full grant lifecycle from proposal production to funding agreement finalization. Set portfolio assignments, workflows, and quality standards across both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities, ensuring compliance with lobbying and electoral activity restrictions. Represent the organization with funders and program officers, independently leading meetings, pitches, and site visits to cultivate, solicit, and negotiate major grants. Expand the funder pipeline by identifying and researching new institutional prospects. Work proactively with program, policy, and finance staff to meet programmatic and fiscal reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Seven or more years of institutional fundraising experience in a nonprofit environment
- demonstrated success securing and renewing five- and six-figure grants
- Two or more years of staff management experience
- track record of coaching and developing fundraising or grants professionals
- Expertise in cultivating and stewarding external funder relationships

- Working knowledge of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) fundraising distinctions

Desired Qualifications

- Experience with project management tools such as Asana
- Background in environmental policy, political science, communications, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field
