Job Summary
Deputy Director of Dental Services provides direct dental care as needed, serves as the clinical backup to the Director of Dental Services, and supports Dental Services operations by handling delegated administrative or coordination tasks. Responsibilities include adherence to clinical standards, infection control, and organizational policies; collaboration with dental assistants, hygienists, and interdisciplinary teams; participation in scheduling, documentation review, and meetings; and contributing to dental workflows and initiatives while maintaining licensure and continuing education. Emphasizes compliance with HIPAA and organizational health requirements, with duties performed in an office/administrative setting and potential travel within organization facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active, unrestricted dental license
- 3–5 years of experience as a practicing dentist
