Deputy Director, Group Sustainability

Deputy Director leading Group Sustainability for a multi-region real estate portfolio. Responsible for developing asset-level sustainability plans aligned with decarbonisation targets, establishing data collection and ESG performance frameworks, supporting group reporting (GRESB, sustainability disclosures), and translating sustainability performance into commercial risks and opportunities. Partners with asset management, finance, and group treasury to track performance metrics, manage sustainability-linked loans, and drive capital expenditure for decarbonisation (energy efficiency, on-site renewables, water conservation). Oversees certifications (NABERS, Green Star, Green Mark, BREEAM), integrates sustainability into budgets and procurement, and acts as the primary sustainability partner for asset teams, including remote stakeholder engagement with hotel operators and property management. Requires deep knowledge of building performance, energy efficiency, ROI/asset value linkage, and global ESG frameworks; strong self-starter with ability to manage cross-cultural stakeholders remotely.
