Job Summary
Deputy Director responsible for directing several Child Protective Managers and multiple units across NYC boroughs within the Division of Child Protection; oversee staffing, training, compliance with laws and policies, program delivery, quality supervision, and development of client-family referral pathways; identify and implement improvements, manage reporting processes, and establish liaison with other NYC service providers. Preferred qualifications include a Master of Social Work or related master’s degree, strong communications, and bilingual ability (Spanish or other languages). Internal ACS applicants only.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- Four years of professional social services experience with supervisory/administrative responsibilities
- Master of Social Work or related master’s degree preferred
- Bilingual ability in Spanish or other languages is a plus
