Job Summary
Direct and supervise APS staff processing cases for clients receiving Financial Management Services, awaiting entitlements, or requiring monitoring. Provide administrative oversight of the Assessment Unit, ensuring quality service plans and implementation of emergency stabilization services. Plan and manage eviction prevention activities, coordinating services between APS, Visiting Psychiatric Services, the Office of Legal Affairs, and the Family Independence Administration. Oversee Orders to Gain Access requests completed within the 30-day assessment period and monitor the overall performance of the Preventive Service Program. Maintain ongoing contacts with City, State, and external agencies to coordinate interventions and review case records for compliance with State regulations. Develop statistical reports detailing monthly Field Office productivity and submit performance analyses to the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Permanent in the Administrative Director of Social Services Civil Service title
- Eligible for 6.1.9 title change
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- Four years of progressively responsible experience
- One year at the administrative or managerial level in a large governmental agency, business firm, civic or community organization operating in the area of social services
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- One year of experience at the administrative or management level
