Job Summary
Deputy Designer – BIM Electrical based in Gurugram, leading BIM modeling and drafting for electrical systems on large-scale Middle East projects using Autodesk Revit. Develops and updates 3D BIM models, produces detailed electrical drawings (lighting, power, cable containment), and coordinates with Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines. Supports QA/QC checks, maintains BEP/LOD alignment, and assists in BIM standards implementation. Provides technical support and basic training to design staff, participates in coordination meetings, and helps resolve modeling/coordination issues, with a focus on independent task execution under general supervision. Must have strong detailing, modeling, and teamwork skills and a willingness to learn BIM technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of experience in Revit-based electrical design and drafting.
- Experience working on large-scale Middle East projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) for electrical systems.
- Understanding of BIM workflows, project standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Familiarity with Navisworks or similar coordination tools.
- Knowledge of electrical drafting standards and basic design principles.
